Lee Ane Pompilio

Lee Ane attends the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts where she specializes in aerial hoop, but studies general aerials and Chinese acrobatics as well. She spends time at her desk job dreaming about possible and impossible aerial sequences, as well as recovering from her rigorous training regime. In her free time, she searches the city for new playgrounds and other ideal areas to practice free running, acrobatics, and aerials. She loves that, while learning to use her body in new and challenging ways, she has also learned to view the cityscape in novel and exciting ways. She feels more grounded hanging upside down from monkey bars, or spinning on an aerial hoop, than with both feet upon the earth. One of her favorite quotes was spoken by her partner in life as well as acrobatics, Charlie: “It is when we are separated from the soil for even a second that life makes the most sense.”
